Plant Care

Alocasia

Alocasia is a striking plant known for its bold, arrow-shaped leaves and dramatic veining. Its tropical appearance adds an exotic touch to any space but requires attentive care to thrive.

Watering

Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy, as overwatering can lead to root rot. Use well-draining soil to prevent excess moisture retention.

Light

Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while low light may slow growth and dull the foliage.

Fertilizer

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to support healthy leaf development. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Temperature

Thrives in warm temperatures between 65°F and 80°F. Avoid exposure to cold drafts or sudden temperature changes, as these can cause leaf damage.
