Plant Care
Dracaena
Dracaena is a popular and hardy plant with long, leathery leaves and a tree-like appearance. It’s known for its easy care and ability to adapt to various indoor environments, making it a great choice for both beginners and seasoned plant owners.
Watering
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Dracaenas are relatively drought-tolerant, so allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Be cautious not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot.
Light
Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. A location with filtered light works best.
Fertilizer
Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to promote healthy growth. Reduce feeding in the fall and winter when the plant’s growth slows.
Temperature
Thrives in temperatures between 65°F and 75°F. Keep away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes, as this can cause leaf damage or stress.
