Plant Care
Maranta
Maranta, also known as the Prayer Plant, is admired for its vibrant, patterned leaves that fold up at night. This low-growing plant adds unique movement and color to any indoor space.
Watering
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy, as Maranta prefers consistent humidity. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely.
Light
Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can fade its leaf patterns, while low light may slow growth. A spot with filtered light is ideal.
Fertilizer
Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to support healthy foliage. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.
Temperature
Thrives in temperatures between 65°F and 80°F (18°C–27°C). Prefers higher humidity and should be kept away from drafts and dry air.
