Plant Care
Pachira
Pachira, commonly known as the Money Tree, is a hardy, fast-growing plant with a distinctive braided trunk and lush green leaves. It’s an excellent choice for adding a touch of tropical greenery to any space.
Watering
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Allow excess water to drain freely, and avoid letting the plant sit in standing water to prevent root rot. Pachira prefers consistent moisture but can tolerate short dry periods.
Light
Prefers bright, indirect light. It can adapt to lower light conditions but grows best with steady filtered light. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which may scorch the leaves.
Fertilizer
Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to encourage strong growth. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.
Temperature
Thrives in temperatures between 65°F and 80°F. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes to prevent stress and leaf drop.
