Plant Care

Philodendron

Philodendrons are versatile, fast-growing plants known for their lush, heart-shaped or split leaves. They thrive indoors with minimal care, making them a favorite for both beginners and experienced plant owners.

Watering

Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, as philodendrons prefer moderate moisture but are sensitive to overwatering.

Light

Prefers bright, indirect light. It can adapt to lower light conditions, but too little light may slow growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Fertilizer

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to encourage strong growth. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Temperature

Thrives in temperatures between 65°F and 80°F. Keep away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes to prevent stress and leaf drop.
